Chat on line on the re

I would suggest to be created at the RE a chat service on line. Several groups of subjects/threads would be created and members login to them and chat on line about that thread. OR once inside the normal thread the members whose be at the thread should be possible to chat among them about the discussed thread.

What do you think "chiefs" of the RE? I think is not to hard to be implemented.

Re: Chat on line on the re

A chat room has been arranged and put on line several times in the past.

The take up and response was pathetic.

Chat rooms removed as they were unused.

Sorry, doubt if they will be resurrected.

The "times are changing" why don't we give another shot and try it?

Sandro, sounds like a good idea but it would be like herding cats, apart from massive time differences, each of us has our own daily demand from customers. As i work practically isolated and no chance of chitchat at the parts outlet, i would welcome such an event, however this forum works for me.

It happens often two or more people be connected to the same thread at the same time. We post and after 3 or 4 min already have a reply post and so on.

A system like chat on line available I still think that would be a good idea.

Sandro, try and collect Skype addresses from members you want to talk to, its much better than chat-room.
