    Annie Hermetic Tester

I see the Annie Hermetic tester is for a 60 Hz supply.

Do any of you British folk (or anyone else for that matter!) know if using it on a 50Hz supply causes problems or doesn't it make a difference?

    Cheers,

    Andy.

It won't make any difference to the starting side of things, not sure about the accuracy of the ammeter side of things though.
    Never had trouble with mine.

    Re: Annie Hermetic Tester

Thanks for the reply. There was one on ebay but went for over £100 in the end.

I carry out normal compressor checks, test capacitors on my meter for value, measure the relay coil for resistance, take the relay apart to check inside. So really I'm not sure if the Annie would tell me anything I wouldn't have found out anyway. If one came along cheap enough then I'd sure like a fiddle though.

Do you find it comes in useful?

    Cheers,
    Andy.
