Modify Thermoking controler
I would like to figure out a way to start up my ThermoKing MD100 remotely. The refer unit is connected to a trailer in a very remote location and I only want it to start up when i tell it to remotely...
I have a datacontroller (CR1000 - connected to a modem) and I'd like to be able to somehow wire the start / stop buttons so i can start it from the Controller.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing. Im guessing id rewire the controller (called SMART REFER controller) and run a wire from the CR1000 to the start button or something.
Somewhere to start or a suggestion would be very much appreciated.
ps: I dont want to buy the Thermoking modems and monitors because i have alternate controllers already in place.
