York YPAL095 static pressure troubles
Greetings!
I have a customer with supply air static pressure trouble. The pickup is mounted in the duct 3/4 of the way down. York recommends 2/3, but that point is inaccessible. When the unit starts in the morning, the static pressure fails to rise and the unit goes down on static pressure fault. Any constructive ideas or help appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben

Re: York YPAL095 static pressure troubles
According to the York document --
http://www.york.com/products/esg/YorkEngDocs/1074.pdf
The duct sensor should be 3/4 along the longest duct.
Have you measured the duct pressure at the sensor point and confirmed that you are getting the same reading at the pressure transducer at the plant itself. Sensing tube damaged ?
Is the pressure transducer working correctly?Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
