advice on 2nd hand F/F
hi guys.
hopefully this is in the correct forum
im looking at buying a 2nd hand Fridge Freezer a zannussi about 6 year old and was around £900 when new.
could get it for £85
it seemed ok its a huge 6ft5 one.
few dings ect but nothing majour
however in the fridge the little lips that hold the shelves. normally about 10 so you can choose which ones to use.
on the very front of 2 there is a small hole where its been damaged. does this affect the function of the fridge
from what i could gather its only costmetic and to use some rvc seallant or something like that?

Little holes - well it depends how old they are.
If they are in/through the plastic lining of the fridge it is possible for the insulation behind it to have soaked up lots of moisture.
This will affect the overall performance of the fridge and is a potential bacteria growing point.
The choice is yours however.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
