Adapter to connect auto regas to Danfoss BD35 fridge compressor
I have boat fridge with a Danfoss BD35F compressor. It needs regassing and I want to use a car regas kit to do it. But I need an adapter to connect the car quick connect coupling to the compressor 1/4 SAE flare male with schrader valve fitting. Any ideas?

Re: Adapter to connect auto regas to Danfoss BD35 fridge compressor
The BIG question is, where has the old gas gone?
Closely followed by, will the new gas go the same way?
Some of those auto gas cans have seal conditioner and pag oil in to make all the o rings that are common in car systems swell a bit. You don't want that in your danfoss, it may do bad things to the motor insulation or cap tube. (car systems have no motor in the compressor, being belt driven)
But the main thing is you now need an F gas ticket to be working with refrigerants. Much along the line of Corgi/Gas safe with plumbing.
Will anyone catch you if you don't, its doubtful, but its a bit of a slap in the face to the many tradesmen who have invested time and not an inconsiderable sum of money in training and new tools to meet these regulations.
