Re: Txv? ?????
Hi there,
This could be from other faults too. What is the suction and discharge pressures? What is the refrigerant?
Is this system new and this is the first commissioning?
The reason I am asking this is this : If the system worked well before and something happened then you have to look for the reason. If this is the first time you are charging the system then this could be from blocked filter or some kind of pre-expansion in liquid line, or blocked TEV filter (if any). This is common on first charging because system is new and debris from soldering could block anything there.
With high superheat most probably your suction pressure is lower than normal. So you have LP fault there.
Four families of faults cause this :
1- Lack of refrigerant
2- Lack of expansion device capacity
3- Pre-expansion in liquid line
4- Lack of evaporator capacity
Number 4 above makes the SH to decrease so you don't have that. Try to check the other 3.
Number 1 above makes the SC to decrease (normal sub cooling between 4 and 7°C).
Hope this helps.

You posted this in the wrong section where few will read your post.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
