Tricity Bendix BL600W - what gas?

Can anyone identify what refrigerant a 1993 Tricity Bendix Built-under, Larder fridge, model BL600W runs on?
The compressor, which I cannot identify, has a model number M612D and R12CLB
Can this be R12?
I would have thought R134A would have been the norm in 1993.

hi sparkatan, can you get a standing psi, and the coldest temp of the condencing unit? we can then calculate which refrigerant it is charged with ,

Not without breaking into the system i.e. fitting a line tap valve. I have a feeling it is a tad short of refrigerant but if it is R12 then I don't think it is worth repairing.
