Freeze-Up Thermostat ?
I was hoping someone might be able to tell me a little bit about a freeze up thermostat? What it is, where you'de install it, how you'de set it up etc.
It's a question I've had come up in some of my book work, and have had no luck finding information about it anywhere!
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Freeze-Up Thermostat ?
In relation to an air handling unit you would normally have a "frost stat" just after the first heating coil in the unit.
If the heating water was unable to maintain the required minimum off-coil temperature then the stat would operate and switch off the fan to stop the airflow over the coils.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

Hi ozzy_joe and a big welcome to our forum.
What is your application for the freeze up tstat? Is it like a post mix machine for coke or beer? or is it something else, refrig or ac?
You av a strange name for some one in Kiwi land calling your self ozzy, so are you a Kiwi or a Kangaroo? - I'm a Kiwi who lives and works in Kangaroo land and love it.
