Re: Organizations membership
We spent money some years ago and joined the UK HVAC organisation.
For this membership we got loads of mail each month keeping us up to date on the current legislation and events being organised or discussions taking place in London.
When we tried to use the legal adice service they were not interested as it would cost them money, and when it came down to 2 companies fighting for the order for a large contract (where the spec said it must be carried out by a member of the HVCA) and we lost to a non member company, I thought - this is a load of money making s**t. So I cancelled our membership and made savings.
