backforward curve centrifugal fan
backforward curve centrifugal fan can be used in scrolling case \circular\rectangular duct etc, but its performance depends on the different size, who have used this kind of fan and how to calculate to meet specific air volume \static pressure? pls advise.
thx.

Re: backforward curve centrifugal fan
Lichuan, try this site for some downloadable pdf catalogues regarding backward curved fans... http://www.ebmpapst.co.uk/pages/cont...s_14,ss_43,p_2 . I am not sure about 'calculating' the actual fan size as such, I have always used the manufacturers data to decide the fan to be used.
I assume that you have already decided on the airflow rate and the system resistance so it should be a matter of finding a fan that will perform to you requirements and getting it to fit where you want it ...
Also try Airflow Developments (UK) for some additional info, or contact them for assistance.... www.airflow.co.ukBrian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK
