Daikin brc1c51/61
Hi
My reverse cycle A/C is controlled by a BRC1C51/61. I have heard that you can have the temp controlled by a sensor in the control unit or by one in the ducting. Is this true and if so, how can it be changed from the control unit?
This is my first post so my apologies in advance.
Thanks
Chris

The answer is YES but you need to be aware of the problems that can be caused by using the sensor in the remote controller before using that one.
Will the remote sense the space temperature correctly, is it by a door, is it directly in front of the cold air discharge etc?
It won't make the system any colder by the way, if it isn't cold enough now then you need the system looking at.Brian - Newton Abbot, Devon, UK

There is an accessory that can be purchased called a KRC501 remote sensor.
This takes the place of the fitted return air sensor and can give better control, especially if you have a ducted fan coil with free back return.
