Citroen C5 air con dead
Hi folks, wondering whether anyone out there will be able to help. The ac on the car hasnt been performing too well for a while, a kwik fit recharge seemed to help slightly (dont believe they tested for leaks but cant be sure) and then after a long drive, with the ac on, from under the bonnet there came a noise like a scalded cat, then silence. Now absolutely no ac (dont feel it kick in like I used to - was that a good thing?).
So, can anyone
a). Give an idea of what the fault may be (am prepared for the worst)
b) Recommend any car air con specialists in the Reading (UK) area that may be able to help
Thanks in advance

Re: Citroen C5 air con dead
It's likely from what you describe that if lucky your compressor drive belt has failed.
Or could even be missing if unlucky your compressor may have failed.
What have Kwickfit said?
