    how many lobes

I am in the truck as we speak. I am meeting with a 'vibration specialist' - no, for a compressor. He would like to know how many male and female lobes are in a Frick 193 - no, for a compressor. If anyone, and you know who you are, has an answer; post it or send it.

    Re: how many lobes

    Hey Salamander,

that would be 4 lobes on the male and 6 lobes on the female rotor, so the female runs 2/3 the rpm's of the driven male.
As mentioned before in this forum it is possible that the slidevalve is touching the rotortips, it can create some strange vibration values.

good luck with the measurements, if you need more info just e-mail me.
