Question Please Help Find Troubleshooting Charts

Does anyone know where I can find general refrigeration system troubleshooting charts?
I find it hard to believe there would be nothing out there resembling a general automotive symptom chart, i.e., if this is the case then check this, this and this, etc.
    Thanks

hi david, you don,t seam to be getting any answers ,sorry but the normal faults on a-c systems dont realy aply to your situation , as in ,faults on automotive systems are
if the car engine runs and the fan belt in in situ, then if the stat works, then what more can go wrong?

Within most manufacturers service manuals are full fault diagnosis guides; try building up a library of them for reference.

Thanks, That's a good one to add to my collection. I have discovered a few other guides and I just ordered an interactive troubleshooting CD that presents over a hundred different scenarios of trouble to locate. Can't wait to play with that.
After I'm done with all this research I may design my own troubleshooting flow charts just like the ones used in auto shop manuals. My goal is to gain a reputation for having the ability to diagnose problems lightning quick.

    Hi David,

I think, you can find the chart on the suitable manual of maching product, usually provided on the last page of it.

Re: Please Help Find Troubleshooting Charts

New equipment is never a problem. I'm always looking for help with old systems. I'm the guy they call when nobody else wants to deal with it. I end up getting to a job where the equipment is old and there are no markings or other information anywhere. Many times I don't even have any idea what refrigerant they have used or anything. At that point I must become a detective and it's not always clear where to start or how to proceed.

Also using the search function at this site just type in "Gary" without the quotes to bring up all his input. You will see he is a prolific poster and considered very knowledgable by most

Thanks for the tip. I started reading it. I came across a link to what was supposed to be Gary's own website but the link was dead, too bad.

    Cooool man, thanks.
I also stumbled across another tech's website.
    http://www.udarrell.com/my_pages2.ht...ITIONING_PAGES
Nothing there is for sale, and the site is very poorly organized, but has a number of gems of wisdom I have copied. Guy goes into great detail, in fact you'd be hard pressed to find a customer that would tolerate the expense to go to all the trouble this guy takes to get it right.
