McQuay Frame 3200 Compressors
Can anybody tell me exactly how the slide valve on a McQuay Stargate Frame 3200 compressor is controlled. It seems to be driven by two signals from the Microtech controller - constant and pulsing in various configurations. How can I test with a meter to verify its position and how it is operating?

Re: McQuay Frame 3200 Compressors
Stop looking. I figured it out. They have two opposed solenoids that position the slide. They are a bit tricky to control as the signal is pulse width modulated, but certainly not rocket science. If anyone needs to know more, drop me a line and I'll fill you in.
