York YS chiller water connections left vs right hand config
I have been asked to install a used York
YSCBCA S-CHB5 water cooled chiller. All of the condenser and chilled water connections are on the right side of the unit.
For ease of installation, can I swap the ends and make the water connections on the left side?
Background info:
I have another York YSBBBBSI GA-A that is generally an identical unit except the water connections are on the left hand side. I called other manufacturers and was told that the ends can be swapped but there will be an 8% loss of capacity. York never responded.
The literature makes no reference to left or right hand units, which makes me suspect that the ends are interchangeable. Any thoughts? Thanks
