    Bitzer HSKC oil change.

    Hi all,

I have a question. I would like to know/learn how to do an oil change on a bitzer screw compressor. I have never done this procedure before especialy because the oil is on the high pressure/discharge side of the compressor.

The pump down into the condenser doesn't work really well in this case I assume.

Any tips would be really helpfull.

    Thanks.

Yeah, pump down, close the valves, recover the refrigerant for as much as possible, drain the oil from the separator, change the oil filter, evacuate the compressor and while keeping the vacuum pump running, use the pressure difference for sucking the oil into the compressor separator.

Thank you for the quick answer

I was expecting this kind of answer, but I wanted to know for sure because I don't want to take any risk loosing refrigerant because it's R407C.
