Evaporative Condenser system COP
Hey,
Sorry I am new in this cooling systems and I get to do test methodology of Evaporative Condenser COP value.
Is it enough to measure only:
- Temperature of refrigerant entering condenser (steam under 80 Celsius)
- Temperature of refrigerant leaving condenser (liquid over 0 Celsius)
- Refrigerant flow (liquid)
- Power consumptions (condenser's fan and condenser's pump)?
I don't understand why should I need to measure also:
- Wet bulb temperature (outside air entering condenser)
- Dry temperature (outside air)
- Pressure of refrigerant entering/leaving compressor and condenser (under 30 bar).
- Power consumptions (compressor)?
Is there something else I need to measure?
And what measure equipments should I use and how to do the measurements.
Designing system
I also have problem choosing compressor. Smallest evaporative condenser is almost 200% too big. Do I need to choose also bigger compressor because of the big condenser and does too big condenser affect badly compressor and other devices?
Thanks for your help and sorry about my bad English!
