New to the Forum, thought it rude not to say hello!
Hi everyone,
My name is George, im 30 and im currently still serving in the Royal engineers as a Fitter AC/R.
Been in the army OOoo...nearly 10yrs now. I decided to train in AC & Refrigeration, and after much hardwork i left as a fully qualified engineer, 1 week later i was in Basra airport helping install their new air handlers....it was daunting to say the least!!! lol, but hey, that was a while ago now, and ive had many tours when ive been the only AC guy around for many a mile, so im a little more wiser, and generally get the job done.
Im currently based up in Lincs, and maintain all the AC & R assets that are here. Chillers/fridges/AH/VRF/Freezers/splits, well you name it, its here.
Also cover LEV( Local exhaust ventilation) plant inspections.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration &
Air conditioning (no ammonia)
17th Edition
CITB Safe handling refrigerants/brazing
P601 LEV Test /inspection
Planned Qualifications next 6mnths:
VRF
P602 LEV Design
Well guys, that about sum's it up. Thought it best to come on and say hello, its a great site, hoping for a warm welcome,
Best,
George
