Hpco & lpco
Hi Guys,
Hoping you can help with this.
Are High Pressure Cut Out's (HPCO's) usually associated with discharge pressure? And are Low Pressure Cut Out's (LPCO's) usually associated with suction line pressure?
Also what would be considered correct parameters for setting the HPCO and LPCO (+/-20% of normal operating pressure)?
Thanks

Re: Hpco & lpco
high pressure control protects compresor against execesive high pressure reading, and yes 20 percent above normal operating pressure of the system will be the cut out pressure ,while low pressure control is needed to monitor suction pressure, and will be in need against undercharge system ,and mandatory needed on pump down system .cut out pressure depends on systems application. hope this helps.
