    Screw compressor use R23



    Hi.Have anyone been use a screw compressor make cascade refrigeration R23/R404a.Now I am trying design a cascade system and interesting in screw compressor .My heatload is 240 kw at evap temp -75 c.

    i worked on case cade but the compressor was not screw type

    at this time what u have study about this systme. and how you will design condencer and evaporator

    Are you sure about the capacity?

    It too high for -70°C. Usually cascade systems are very small.
    Also, you have to ask the screw manufacturer to see if their compressor can run with R23.
    Again, your capacity is way too high.
