Samsung side by side Fridge Freezer Fault !

If anyone has or knows someone who has.
A Samsung RS21 or RS60 made between March 2005 and June 2006.
Please refer to below.
This product fault inspection is also applied to later versions and models SN62, RSE8, RSH1 and RSJ1

Thanks for the link to the Samsung Helpline, I have a RS20CCMS with defrost problems too, but the Helpline doesn't cover this model. Although I have got over the problem in the past by bypassing the heat sensitive fuse, I now have the correct fuse back in place, plus the latest sensor, but after 3 weeks the evp is iced up again, fuse open circuit as has been before. The heater works fine and only draws at the last count, about 0.5amp. Does anyone know what the 'mod' consists of in the recall? The frig/freezer is only 4 years old, works fine, just this one annoying fault, so I am reluctant to bin it.

Hi i have rs 21, got it seond hand then fan went, found out on the net about the fire rick so phoned samsung, the cane and fixed the fire rick plus a few other jobs like evap/cover anr rear fan, it broke down 2 days later i rang sansung the said phone the people the sent to reaper it so i did and the reackon the comisper has now gone, the said if its still got warrenty im ok sansung will pay the bill,, but as i got it seond hand will in still be garanted?
