A Coil Upside Down!
Today I installed a UV lamp into my neighbors Lenox Furnace A Coil. The unit is attic mounted horizontally. When I removed the A coil's inspection cover I found the Coil to be reversed. The Vertex of the A was facing the heating chamber of the furnace. Is this a common practice? Does it restrict the air flow and efficiency?
