    Frick RXF30 Shaft Seal Repair

I inhereted a pair of Frick RXF30 screw compressors using R-22 in a flooded evaporator, two-stage subcooler/accumulator type system. There are two thermosyphon type oil coolers.
I have a compressor with oil and refrigerant blowing out of the oil drainage bottle when the plant isn't running. The hours on this compressor is 482103. Maintenance on this system has been a joke: Keep adding factory oil to one cirduit which always runs low and thats about it.
I'm looking for service literature on shaft seal repair and other repairs on this system (filters, thermostatic oil valves, etc). Anyone out there with info?

Re: Frick RXF30 Shaft Seal Repair

Hazard a guess that the shaft seal is stuffed, suggest that screws be removed and fully stripped and repaired, start with a shaft seal kit if client is broke, and add a Laser alignment as well to clear any issues.
