Re: installation jobs
I know you wrote installation but Space are looking for service guys (and gals, puff on cigar, Jim'll Fix It).
A couple of blokes who went from install to service in our firm are among the better technicians.
When an small install job comes up they obviously handle it with ease and sometimes look at problems from a different perspective (i.e. pipe configuration, pack set up, oil return problems).
Would mean of course starting out again but if you've got an aptitude for problem solving then maybe give it some thought. You'll be surprised the level of incompetance amongst some 'service techs' - some blokes can't even tell pipe sizes without measuring them, fail to check compressors correctly before condeming them and don't get me started on the brazing...
Would probably mean working shifts etc. as discussed elsewhere on this forum so win some lose some mate.
Good luck,
Tayters.Health and safety first..........unless I'm in a hurry.
