    Working out chilled water flow rates



    Hello
    Can some body please tell me if it is possible to work out the flow rate on a chilled water system with a binder gauge and how do you calculate it in ltrs/min

    you need to measure the pressure drop across the evaporator/condensor(difference between entering and leaving water pressures) on the bindi points then using the flow charts for the chiller you can work it out from them if you have the chiller model and serial i might be able to help you a bit more

    Or....if you know the duty of the chiller and measure the dt between the flow and return, Q=mcdt will give you the mass flow rate.
