    Alco expansion valve



    Does any body know what the kw size of an alco ammonia tx valve Would be model number xb1049az-2b? One of our guys is desperate as the whole plant is shut down untill he can find an equivelant. If need further info I can ask him. Cheer

    Try fitting a hand expansion vav to get plant running manually so-to-speak, and then sort out a Danfoss equivalent.

    The xb1049az-2b part is similar to Alco's standard refrigerant TEV power head assembly. You'll need the valve body's part number to get the tonnage.

    Whats it off and conditions .

    Its probably easier to resize it from scratch .

    Apparently they were able to find another valve from somewhere and now it's all good, thanks for the suggestions anyways. Cheers
