Cooy or Cosy - Soft Starter
Hi,
I have a Cooly or Cosy COCD361PH unit installed and would like to ask if the compresor starter module noted as "ACS", page 7 of the manual, is in fact a soft starter.
If not can a unit like the Invertek [AUST] - XFE Energy Optomising Softstarter be used instead.
Please refer this post to other forum areas if this is not the appropriate location.
With thanks,
Lumpy20.

Sadly we do not have the manual that you refer too so giving a suitable answer is a bit tricky.

Re: Cooy or Cosy - Soft Starter
Hi Lawrence1
Since my last post I have established that the compressor motor is a single phase - DOL- [direct on line] PCS [perminant capicitor start-run] motor.
It would benifit from a Softstarter of VFD and am working on that now.
Also need a solution to one only RTd temp sensor in the house. I would like to have two or three RTD's on the machine to reduce overall run time.
Regards,
KH
