Do any bigger companies have apprenticeship schemes?
Emailing around smaller companies has got me nowhere in months!

Have you written all the names of big companies down on paper then tried finding their websites one by one, most have a careers/recruitment page on them, if not then email them via their website or ring them and ask.
This is what i did and i was lucky to get on with one of the big chiller companies
PS. please note, if a company is too big and corporate you will just be a number (once i learnt this, i moved on)

most of the big supermarket companies dont as they are fixing fridges for nothing hence no money for training new.
