Can anyone give me some guidance. I completed an apprenticeship 12 years ago in the air conditioning/refrigeration trade but during the recession of the early 90s where my service manager left, not by choice, but very quickly and umpteen people were made redundant, myself leaving after 6 years of service on very bad terms, i never got my trade papers. The only documents i have is a university transcript stating the completion of a diploma in HVAC technology. I have 12 years of experience in the a/c/refrigeration industry working on 'tools' but no vocational recognition. Is there anywhere i may be registered as an apprentice by the government or anyone who can grant me a craft certificate in recognition of my work??

contact the uni / btec or C&G -which ever examination board- you sat. hopefully they will have you on file...
