9000btu split
hi guys,
i have a 9000btu split unit returned to me by a customer, the unit ran for a while it seems, customer complaint not pumping.
when i opened the unit it seems the compressor got hot due to stickers melted on compressor, when i turn on the unit, the compressor makes a loud buzzing noise then kicks out but does not trip the board, the fan still works, when i turn the unit off, you can hear a click from the compressor.
what could cause this to happen to the compressor apart from over heating? insufficient gas, too much gas or liquid in th system?

Re: 9000btu split
Cheap compressor, running without or not enough refrigerant, bad elactrical connections, air in the system.

The click is the overload on the compressor.
