Daikin FTXS-JV?
Just had a look at the new Daikin catalogue for 2010. There´s 2 new systems in there in the domestic range. The new Emura units, which I already know about, but there is also the FTXS-JV units. The JV units are considerably cheaper than the FTXS-G units, but what is the difference. It looks like it is missing the intelligent eye sensor so I suspect these are the same units without all the fancy features, is that the case?

Re: Daikin FTXS-JV?
yes this is correct, the JV model is a simple indoor unit with a lot less features. This is to compete with the undercutting market of split systems in Italy and places where the units are mainly used for cooling.
