What Size Generator/Amps Do i Need for my Ice Block Plant
I am looking to choose between 2 ice block plants. One is rated at 15.2A and the other is 38.2A.
Voltage will be 380-400v/3/50hz.
I want to get a generator that will be sufficient in running them (separately) cos i will be choosing either of them.
How do i choose the right sized generator?. (Not too big nor too small)
Thanks

Re: What Size Generator/Amps Do i Need for my Ice Block Plant
If cos fi ice plant is 0.85, then 38.2A plus looses in motors, about 7A, total generator need about 45.2A min.
Did you calculate total consuption ice plant, eg. water blower, pumps for recirkulation ice water...
Inductive consumer is highli demand on start, so total power of the generator probably will be increase *1.7!
