ICAD 900 problems
good day to you all
where having some problems using a icad 900 with a icm65
\we use it for defrosting our plate freezers on board an dutch frezing trawler
now the problem we are have is
it seem the valve is not opening quickly
when we give the valve some pre opening its going oke for several times
then over a period of time (approx 1 hour)
The pre opening is disserpearing
and the valve or icad seem to be to late to open again
we trided re callibrating
checked all the setting
everyting seem to be in order
after recalibration the vale works fine by th way
but after approx 1 hour the malfuntion begins again
the valve is in a co2 system
hope somone can help me

Your problem is that some moisture, when it's frosted, is locking the actuator to rotor sleeve. you should remove the actuator, warm and dry the sleeve and apply greeze with a deep freezing point. it will prevent moisture to get in.

Danfoss recommend gland heater be installed on ICAD for any application minus 30 C & lower .

Cricri has pin pointed the logical cause and Ranger's advice is spot on!
We even fit them on chill applications.
Well worth acting upon both recommendations.
