    Sullair C25LA 3.7

Have an inquiry for changing Vi from 3.7 to 2.6 on Sullair C25LA .

The question is can it be done and what steps required to do it . ie complete disassembly .

I guess we also require dimmentions of port , but one thing at a time .

    Thanks Ranger

This can be done without complete disassemble. I haven't done this personally but it involves removing the one housing and valve guide.

Changing the slide valve from one Vi to another involves removing the outlet cover and the capacity control cylinder and all the parts on the piston rod so you can push valve and psiton rod out the discharge end of the compressor. To do the job you need a valve, p/n 022909, outlet cover kit, capacity control repair kit and an outlet cover kit. Is this for an ammonia appalication? Parts and operators manuals for Sullair Refrigeration packages can be found on the Mid-States Refrigeration website. There is a line just above the RETA logo to click on and veiw the desired manual.
