Refrigeration for Fishing Ships
Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any guidelines for refrigeration systems for fishing ships? I need to design one that has a brine freezer and a couple of storage rooms, but I am not sure about the considerations needed for this.
Appreciate all your help!

Re: Refrigeration for Fishing Ships
Specify design parameters .
You will need
a) see water cooled condenser
b) compressor which can be used on marine application , due consideration for constant rolling-pitching action
c) electrical system which is suitable for marine weather
d) refrigeration piping should be preferably elect welded / gas welded ; avoid threaded joints .
E) water cooled condenser to be with cupro-nickel (70:30)
f) paint : Marine grade
details can be worked out after load conditions are finalized .
Give further details .
