    Re: liability insurance

We are happy with the NFU, got vans, liability, etc with them. Maybe not the cheapest but very easy to deal with. They were recommended to me by many of my farming customers.

They were also the only people who i found that would insure my classic lorry for towing our fair ride with, at £65 per year!

Had a similar experience a few years ago, the company we had our Public Liability with just decided over night not to renew, we had never made a claim. It took our broker quite a time to sort it out then the premium jumped from £400.00 to £1500.00.
Our broker said it was all down to the compensation culture in the UK these days, every time you turn on the TV there are ambulance chasing lawyers touting no win no fee compensation business.

Try a broker, they get the best deal, and prefer a total package type deal. Right down to Life insurance , home and contents, the full monty.
Thats when you bargin the price
