    Tuna fish boats

    Hi Guys,

I wonder if someone have information about the cooling of tuna fish by the RSW using chilled water tanks.

Need to know how is the best practice on the management of the water tanks (sequence of filling, empty, water renovation, etc.). Also the water circuit.

If someone can help me I would be very gratful.

    Regards

    Sandro

For herring boats, we recommend starting out from port with about 20% seawater which gets cooed down while sailing to the fishing grounds. normally, this water isn't changed for fresh seawater during the trip.
