OK, now that all the pictures are here, thanks to DesA and Nokia.
This unique system is located in an urea where the sunny days are around 330 a year [Eat your hart out England ]
The mirrors centralise the sun to a certain point on the tower, heating up an heat exchanger full of .....air.
The temperature goes up to 1200°C and so is the pressure of the air. The hot pressurised air turn an hybrid turbine which turns an air compressor to increase pressure of return air to the hot HE and a generator that produces 100 KWh.
The hybrid turbine can also work on gas if there are clouds.
The plant is connected to the Electric power company whom buys the electricity.
It is at the last stages of running the place.
