Hello to all. Here's my intro.

Hi there my name is Mark and I recently started my refrigeration training. I'm 36 and have been working as an electrician for the last 20 years although I have worked for a few refrigeration companies in Scotland doing supermarket installs and a bit of service work so I know my way round a fridge system. My current job is in a food production factory with mostly ammonia systems and a few ***** systems. So glad I found this forum cause i've got a lot to learn. Cheers.

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.

You sound like an American, what with your *****.

***** was a patented word by Dupont, patent ran out in '79 I think, covering a range of refrigerants. So it's a rather old term to use now-a-days.

Anyway, hope your training etc goes well and good luck with it all.

It's good to know that you are working with the Ammonia refrigeration. Is it a cold storage or a plate freezer? Thanks bro.
