Hi,

Just came back from 2 weeks in cuba to a warm fridge, and soggy food!

The light is on and after reading the manual and a few web posts it appears that I will have left it running in too cold conditions with no heating on while I was away. The ambient temp probably went to freezing or below!

The temp is back up now (about 14 degrees - it was running fine at this temp previously) but its still no good.

Will it have buggered the thermostat or something more? Or do I leave it off for a while?

I have just read a guide to test the thermostat. It does appear to work now so I need to get a new stat.

However I am unsure where the capillary tube of the stat goes and how to fit it?
