    Daikin uatyp180amy1



    hey fellas been working on a system but want to give you fellas a few figures and see what you guys think! Model number as above and on R407c,4.3kg

    Heat mode

    Discharge pressure=16 bar
    Suction pressure=2.5bar
    Air on evap= 17.0
    Air off evap=30.5
    Air on condenser=2
    Air off condenser= 0
    Temp going into evap=56 deg c
    Temp out of evap= 24 deg c
    Temp going into expansion valve=24 deg c
    Temp out of expansion valve=7 deg c
    Temp into condenser=7 deg c
    Temp out of condensor= 2 deg c
    Suction into compressor= 3 deg c


    cooling mode

    Discharge pressure=12 bar
    Suction pressure=3 bar
    Air on evap=18 deg c
    Air off evap=6
    Air on condenser=20 deg c
    Temp going into evap= -2 deg c
    Temp out of evap= 5
    Temp goin into expansion valve= 27 deg c
    Temp out of expansion valve= -2 deg c
    Temp into condenser=57 deg c
    Temp out of condenser=27 deg c
    Suction into compressor=9 deg c

    You got a lot of superheat at the comp suction in cooling mode are you sure that the system was in stable operation when you took the measurements

    Airconadam,

    Does the unit have a fan speed controller option installed? The min operating range (ambient temp) in cooling is 20 C without HPC.

    hi yes the outdoor did have a fan speed controller but was only coming on every 10 secs and then stopping and continue to do so,I thought due to the low head pressure? it was set to the auto position.We have been having problems with this unit with it going off on hp but only on heating? I think possibly an airflow problem. thanks alot
