Pipe Sizing
I have found a formula in a book for calculating the size of pipes and I have a couple of queries.
m=Qo/dh kg/s
then
V=mv
then
A=V/U m2
My main query relates to calculating flowrates for each section. At which point on the log chart do I obtain the specific volume for the liquid line, the suction line etc.
And probably more importantly does the formula seem accurate.

I am looking for formula or a chart for pipe sizeing on Air-conditioning and refrigeration lines.

You are right - here are your formulaa expanded with units for units analysis - but you still need to know exactly what velocities suit you.
