May be DuPont Indonesia who is making the type under the SUVA brand can help you?

You also have a choice of 508A commonly used in Japan made by licence from ICI I think.

Hi Norseman,
I have contacted them (Dupont Indonesia )here but they don't sells directly to costumer and they gave me their distributor which only 1 here in Jakarta and I contacted them already but they don't have stock, it will be in maybe end of January. I tried googling others brands but most of them don't sells R508B/A here. Before I got from Sings Wee Bee but now they don't sells it retail only for big quantity. But anyway thank you for your information Norseman.

Hi Asep.

I have a small suggestion more to try. Sanyo from Japan use 508A on their freezers. The name they use for the refrigerant is TP5R3
May be a Sanyo dealer could stock a bottle?
508B is not to difficult to get in most of Europe, but to ship a 4,5kg high pressure bottle by air would cost a fortune down to you. The brand Thermo Forma (Fisher) which I know very well export a lot of ULT freezers around the world. If you can find a dealer for them, they probably also stock some 508B

Hi Norseman,
I had tried your other suggesstions, so I'll be informed you why I involved in refrigeration specifically in ultra low temperature was started several years ago. Basically,I'm a Biomedical Engineering Technican worked in US government research insitution here in Indonesia which have many of ultra low freezers, then when if one of those ULTs down then we contacted the authorized distributor of its ULTs makers to repair, but in my experienced they all not do good services here or even they don't accepted for repair due to lack of ULTs Technicians here . Then my former supervisor challenged me if I could try to repair ULTs, base on some knowledges of refrigeration basic in college and read some books about cascade system, Revco service manual then I asked for complete tools for that and try it. It's successfull,it was in 1996. Since that time we service and repair our ULTs and many times I help other institutions to repair ULTs because they also can't find a good service company here. Now I'm working in other company but still many times I got called to repair ULTs like what I'm doing now. So, before I never got any problem to get parts or supply like refrigerants because my institution before was a goverment research who has diplomatic priveledges to imported such things without problem, but since I resigned I couldn't get parts or consumables supply for easy. That's my little introduction story about my problem...Norseman, I'm thinking to make my own ULTs service shop specialist here but it need a lot of money to invest to started this bussiness because I'd like to make it complied with international standards means follow all the correct rules for this bussiness not like most of A/C and Refrigeration shops here, some of they even don't know what is recovery tools.
Anyway, I hope you're not bored read my story on this post, just to share my experience here...
