    microsoft,new 7



    just wondering what 7 is behaving like for users recently got new pc its on vista,can get it up graded quite cheaply the question is ,will it be worth it ,downloading speeds etc?,

    installed it a few weeks ago.. no problems most of the software works with it.
    speeds are good. I use it on a acer aspire one netbook..
    and it works great

    is it worth it ?? maybe depends what you want
    anywho i am planning to try some linux distro's

    is it better then vista (Yes it is)

    the cost of the upgrade is around 22 sterling,i will shop around ,it is a recently purchased notebook,thanks frederik

    if you do install 7, watch your back up, 7 will download your backup to your hard drive (c) if you forget, your hard drive builds up to the red, on vista still use cd for backup,

    I upgraded recently and it's more stable than vista but it's not really that great a leap..

    However at £22 I wonder where you can get this from as the cheapest I have seen is 38 quid..

    I have used 7 for about 6 months now and so far its been good. But seriously Vista wasnt that bad after SP2 either
