Adsorption Chilling Waste Heat Recovery
Can an adsorption chiller be used in a standard NH3 vapor compression refrigeration system before the condensers? The thought behind this is to use the hot NH3 gas to be the heat source for the adsorption chiller, which can then produce chilled water for other areas in the plant.
If this is not feasible, what are the main hurdles?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
