Samsung SRS615DP side by side LCD panel replacement

I have a Samsung side by side SRS615DP fridge freezer with ice and water dispensers. It is an Australian model. The LCD sits in the freezer door housing with the ice and water dispenser. I have purchased the new LCD panel with the attached board and would like some advice on removing the old LCD and replacing the new LCD panel.
Does anyone know how to remove the front fascia to replace the LCD screen and board.

We have different model numbers in the UK, but I think they are a similar construction. Look under the bottom edge of the fascia panel, there will be 1 or 2 cut-outs. Push a flat screwdriver up and prise it off - it will be very tight and feel as if it will break. Also try pushing the whole panel upwards at the same time. Hope this helps

OK. I replaced the LCD panel in the freezer door and the new one still does not illuminate. If the new LCD panel does not illuminate what would be the next most possible cause. Is there a common fault when these fridges get to 5 years of age.
