Inline surge protector
Hi guys,
I have an old Daikin inverter that is getting a new PSU board fitted due to fault. I suspect this board was damaged during an electrical storm that caused a surge on the line. Due to the age of the unit, no surge protection is built into the PSU board. Is there an surge protector I can plug into the 240V outlet and then plug the inverter into that to prevent this happening again? The inverter is mounted on the roof so it needs to be weather proof.
Thanks!
Wilson.

Re: Inline surge protector
You can but a piggy back type plug surge arrestor that goes in the wall socket and you plug your appliance into it. Are you sure that the Daiken unit doesn't have protection already, I think it might.
