Kuba fan speed question
This is not a riddle.
I teared of this sticker from a DZA cooler of KUBA.
A DZA cooler exist in a version with 1,2, 3 or 4 fans.
Can someone explain me how Kuba can arrange it that their evaporator motors can have 3 speeds. One of the speeds needs a capacitor for it.
The capacitor need to have another value dependent to the number of fans.
This is a well invented piece of electric wiring in my opinion.
We will use at follow (we weren't aware of this speed regulation) as long as the unit cools, it will go on full speed and once the desired temperature is reached, we will switch to the low speed.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Re: Kuba fan speed question
Hi Peter.
It looks simple to me, I will try to explain.
the capacitor is connected in serie in the low speed, tension is dropping, medium speed is another winding and hi speed is the low speed connected after the capacitor.
the capacitance of the capacitor depends on the numbers of the fans.
This way they save money on the motors by doing only two winding for 3 speed.
